When H(2)S gas is passed thorugh the HCl...

When `H_(2)S` gas is passed thorugh the HCl containing aqueous solution of `CuCl_2,HgCl_(2),BiCl_(3)` and `CoCl_(2)`, it does not precipitated out

A

CuS

B

HgS

C

`Bi_(2)S_(3)`

D

`CoS`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`Co^(2+)` is not precipitated in acidic medium. Its `K_(sp)` is much higher than `k_(sp)` of `Cu^(2+), Hg^(2+)` and `Bi^(3+)`.
