According to Wien.s displacement law, the blackened platinum wire will first emit radiations of longer wavelengths, so it appears red. As the temperature becomes higher, it emits blue radiations dominating red radiations and appears blue and then at very high temperatures, it emits all the radiations strongly and appears white.
