The correct Answer is:
A

The point positive charge will induce negative charge on the surface of the sphere that is close to it. A positive charge will appear on another side. Electric field lines must start from point charge and then terminate en the surface of sphere. Electric lines should again start from the surface of sphere on the other side. In addition, electric field lines should be perpendicular to the surface of sphere. For the given situation the electric field is best described by Fig-i.
