Sketch the electric field lines for a uniformly charged hollow cylinder shown in adjoining figure.

The electric field intensity inside the uniformly charged hollow cylinder is zero, and therefore there are no electric field lines inside the hollow cylinder. The electric field intensity is radially outwards everywhere on the curved surface except near the plane circular faces of the cylinder.
