Here, it is given that three capacitors with capacitances `C_(1)=2 pF, C_(2)=3pF, C_(3)=4pF` are connected across a battery of voltage V = 100V
(a) Effective capacitance for the parallel combination of given capacitors can be calculated as:
`C=C_(1)+C_(2)+C_(3)=2+3+4=9pF`
(b) Since potential difference across all the capacitors will remain same, so charge on each capacitor can be calculated as:
`q_(1)=C_(1)V=2xx10^(-12)xx100=2xx10^(-10)C`
`q_(2)=C_(2)V=3xx10^(-12)xx100=3xx10^(-10)C`
`q_(3)=C_(3)V=4xx10^(-12)xx100=4xx10^(-12)C`
