In YDSE, slits are separated by 0.24 mm ...

In YDSE, slits are separated by `0.24 mm` and the screen is kept `160 cm` away from slits. If fringe width is measured to be `0.4 cm`, calculate the wavelength of light used.

`d = 0.24 mm = 0.024 cm`
`D = 160 cm`
`beta = 0.4 cm`
`beta = (lambda D)/d`
`lambda = (beta d)/D = (0.4 xx 0.024)/(160) = 6 xx 10^(-5) cm`
