The temperature at which a solid changes into a liquid on heating at normal atmosperic pressure is called the melting point of that solid.
The temperature at which conversion of liquid on heating at normal atmopheric pressure is liquid at normal atmosperic pressure is called the boiling point of that liquid and the phenomenon is called boiling.
