What are homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures ? Give one example for each.

The mixture in which different constituents are uniformly distributed throughout the mixture are called homogeneous mistures. Example, a mixture of alcohol and water. The mixtures in which different constituents are non-uniformly distributed throughout the mixture are called heterogeneous mixture. Example a mixture of sulphur and water.
