In this chain of structural organisation in animals, tissue organisation is missing. A tissue is group of cells which alongwith intercellular material performs a specific function. There are four basic types of tissues which are organised in specific proportion and pattern to form specific organ to perform specific function. Formation of organs and organ-systems increases their efficiency and coordination.
