How do you distinguish between dorsal and ventral surface of the body of earthworm ?

(i) Dorsal surface is more darker in colour due to porphyrin pigment
(ii) Dorsal surface has a dark line (dorsal blood vessel) and dorsal pores.
(iii) Female gonopore (on 14th segment) and male gonopores (on 18th segments) are present on ventrolateral side of the body.
(iv) Genital papillae are present on ventrolateral sides of 17th and 19th segments of body.
