Arteriosclerosis is cardiovascular disorder caused by deposition of calcium salts or cholesterol on the walls of blood vessels, or increased fibrous tissue in their walls.
Atherosclerosis is the formation of fibrolipid plaque in the intima of arteries, especially in the coronary arteries of heart.
