Let `f(x)=ax+b.` Hence,
`f(x^(2)+x+3)+2f(x^(2)-3x+5)=6x^(2)-10x+17`
or ` [a(x^(2)+x+3)+b]+2[a(x^(2)-3x+5)+b]=6x^(2)-10x+17`
or `a+2a=6 " (1) " `
and `a-6a= -10 " (2)" `
