Explanation

(a.) Science, Not Rule of Thumb
There should be a proper cause and effect relationship on which decisions should be made. The principle says that decisions must rest on scientific analysis rather than trial and error. The best way of doing a job must be selected and adopted.



(b.)“Discipline means sincerity, obedience, respect of authority & observance of rules and regulations of the enterprise”. This principle applies that subordinate should respect their superiors and obey their order. It is an important requisite for smooth running of the enterprise.
