What is the Importance of expressing coulomb's law in vector from ?

(i) In vector form, it shows that the forces of interaction between two charges are equal and opposite.
(ii) In vector form, it shows that the electrostatic force between two charges acts along the line joining the two charges i.e. electrostatic force is central force.
