An electron and a proton have same speed. How are their wavelength related?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

We know de Broglie `lambda=(h)/(mv)`.i.e., `lambda prop (1)/(m)`. As proton is heavier than electron, wavelength of proton is less than that of electron.
