Both the prefixes (Uni-and-Mono-) have the same meaning i.e., one I n number. Does it mean that unisexual and monoecious are the same?

Unisexual refers to the sex of flower (i.e. whether it has anther or carpel). Monoecious refers to the plant bearing both the sexes in their flowers.
