(a) Sucrose is a disaccharide composed of one glucose molecule one fructose molecule.
(b) Glucose and fructose and isomers.
(c ) One glucose molecule on complete oxidation during aerobic respiration yields 38 ATP's. Therefore one sucrose molecule is capable to yeild double the number of ATP's, approximately 76 ATP's on complete oxidation.
