In aerobic respiration, oxidation of one molecule of glucose generates 36 ATP molecules. On the other hand, during anaerobic respiration , the glucose is incompletely oxidised producing only 2 ATP molecules. Thus it is clear that aerobic respiration is more ATP beneficial than anaerobic respectively.
