Any alteration in the composition of the bile can cause the formation of stones in the pol bladder. The stones are mostly formed of crystallized cholesterol in the bile. The gallston causes obstruction in the eystic duct, hepatic duct and also hepato-pancreatic duct causina pain, jaundice and pancreatitis.
