`(1)/(f)=(mu-1)((1)/(R_(1))-(1)/(R_(2)))`
where `mu` is the refractive index of the material of the lens, `R_(1) andR_(2)` are the radii of curvature of the two faces of the lens , f is the focal length of the lens.
