What is metastasis ?

Explanation

(a) The cancerous cells migrate to distant parts of the body and affect new tisses and this process is called Metastasis.
(b) The superiority of the hybrid, obtained by cross breeding is called heterosis is hybrid vigour.
Effects of hybrid vigour:
(i) Increased production of milk by cattles.
(ii) Increased production of egg by poultry.
(iii) High quality of milk is produced.
(iv) Increased growth rate in domesticated animals.
