What factors are required for the absorption of Vitamin D from the food by the body ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The factor that regulates the absorption of vitamin D is the presence of dietary fat (Egg , Liver , Dairy products , Fish , ect ) . When our body absorbs this fat , it also absorbs the dissolved vitamin D . When the sun rays falls on the skin , the fat is converted in to Vitamin D .
