Show that the horizontal vector and displacement vector in two dimensions .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

As horizontal range `=(u^(2) sin 2 theta) /(g)`
For `theta=45^(@), 2 theta =90^(@)`
`therefore` Horizontal range =`(u^(2) sin 90^(2))/(g)=(u^(2))/(g)` (Maximum)
