Why was a change in the Bohr Model of atom required? Due to which important development concept of movement of an electron in an orbit was replaced by the concept of probabiltiy of finding electron in an orbital?what is the name given to the changed model of atom?

According to Bohr.s model, electrons move along fixed circular paths called orbits. Therefore, position and velocity of electron can be well defined. This was contradicted by de Broglie concept of dual nature of electron and Heisenberg.s uncertainty principle .Therefore, to incorporate the two principles, the well defined orbits were replaced by regions of maximum probability called orbitals. The changed concept formed the bases of wave mechanical model of atom.
