(v) Fuel cell: It is a device which converts the energy produced during the combustion of a fuel directly into electrical energy. Dihydration is used in hydrogen -oxygen fuel cell for generating electrical energy. It has many advantages over conventional fossil fuels and electric power. It does not produced any pollution and releases larger energy per unit mass of fuel in comparison to gasoline and other fuels.
