Nucleosome is a subunit of chromatin. It is an octomer of four types of histones (2 molecules each of `H_(2)A, H_(2)B, H_(3) and H_4)` called nu body. It is made up of a core of eight histone molecules wrapped by double helical DNA formed of about 200 base pairs. DNA takes `1(3)/(4)` turns around the protein core.
