It is central dogma.
Central dogma. The process of synthesis of proteins involves one of the central dogma of molecular biology. According to this, genetic information flows from nucleic acids to protein. We know that DNA is stably inherited from parents to offsprings. According to central dogma the flow of information takes place from DNA to RNA (mRNA) and from RNA to proteins. This can be illustrated as follows :
DNA `overset(Replication)(to)` DNA `overset(Transcription)(to)` RNA `overset(Translation)(to)` Protein.
