a. Out crossing: Mating of animals within the same breed, but having no common ancestors on either side of their pedigree upto 4-6 generation.
Crose breeding: Mating of superior males of one breed with superior females of another breed.
Interapecific hybridisation: Mating male and female animals of two different related species.
b. Cross breeding: Hisardale sheep developed by crossing Bikaneri ewes and Marino rams. ,br> Interspecific hybridisation: Mule by crossing horse and donkey.
