Earlier when I have created my e-mail-ID...

Earlier when I have created my e-mail-ID, the password was consisting of first 4 prime numbers. Recently when 1 tried to check my emails I got dumbfounded since I could not remember my password exactly. So when I have written 2735, my computer indicated me that no digit is correctly placed. Again I tried 5273, I got the same response. So once again I have writen only 3 as the left most digit for my password it again indicated me that it was wrong. Finally I have taken one more attempt and got the account open. The code of my passward is :

A

a.2537

B

b.7352

C

c.7325

D

d.none of these

The correct Answer is:
To solve the problem of finding the password consisting of the first four prime numbers based on the clues given, we will follow these steps: ### Step 1: Identify the first four prime numbers. The first four prime numbers are: - 2 - 3 - 5 - 7 ### Step 2: Analyze the first attempt (2735). The response was that no digit is correctly placed. This means: - 2 is not in the 1st position. - 7 is not in the 2nd position. - 3 is not in the 3rd position. - 5 is not in the 4th position. ### Step 3: Analyze the second attempt (5273). Again, the response was that no digit is correctly placed. This means: - 5 is not in the 1st position. - 2 is not in the 2nd position. - 7 is not in the 3rd position. - 3 is not in the 4th position. ### Step 4: Analyze the third attempt (3XXX). The response was that no digit is correctly placed. This means: - 3 is not in the 1st position (which confirms it cannot be the first digit). ### Step 5: Determine the possible positions for each digit. From the first two attempts, we can summarize: - **2** cannot be in positions 1 or 2. - **3** cannot be in positions 1 or 3. - **5** cannot be in positions 1 or 4. - **7** cannot be in positions 2 or 3. ### Step 6: Narrow down the positions. 1. **For 3**: It cannot be in the 1st position (from the third attempt) or the 3rd position (from the first attempt). Thus, it must be in the 2nd position. 2. **For 2**: It cannot be in the 1st or 2nd position. Thus, it must be in the 4th position. 3. **For 5**: It cannot be in the 1st or 4th position. Thus, it must be in the 3rd position. 4. **For 7**: It cannot be in the 2nd or 3rd position. Thus, it must be in the 1st position. ### Step 7: Compile the digits into the password. From the deductions: - 1st position: 7 - 2nd position: 3 - 3rd position: 5 - 4th position: 2 Thus, the password is **7352**. ### Final Answer: The code of my password is: **7352**. ---
