What precaution should be taken to avoid the overloading of domestic electric circuits?

1. Wires used for carrying current should be of proper current rating.
2. Whereas wire of low current rating may be used for lighting electric bulbs, tubes, T.V. etc., wires of higher current rating should be used for A.C., heating appliances etc.
3. Separate circuit should be there for heating appliance.
4. each circuit should has a fuse of proper rating.
5. Wire should be replaced by new wires of proper rating after every 3-4 years.
6. PVC of good quality should be used.
