Fleming.s right hand thumb rule. Stretch the forefinger, central finger and thumb of right hand in

mutually perpendicular direction. If the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field, thumb points along the direction of motion of the conductor, then the central finger points in the direction of induced current.
