Biological classification is a dynamic and ever evolving phenomenon which keeps changing with our understanding of life forms. Justify, the statement taking any two examples .
Discuss the changes made in studying biological classification from time to time and also enumerate the need for this changes.

Biological classification is undergoing changes. In the beginning, only few characters were picked up arbitrarily in artificial system of classification. Gradually, more characters were used fro classification . Two kingdom system of classification was revised to three kingdom system of classification . In this kingdom protista was added. It was followed by four kingdom system by Copeland (1955) . Kingdom monera was added in ti. Five kingdom system of classification (Whittaker, 1963) came into force. Woese has added another kingdom called Archaea.
