Mention any two characteristics of ammonia as a nitrogenous metabolic waste. Which of the following animals is/are ammoniotelic ? Camel, Whale, Shark, Frog.

(i) In ammonotelic excretion, ammonia is the main nitrogenous waste. It is highly soluble is water and about `300-500` ml of water is required to expel one gram of ammonia. It is highly toxic so needs immediate expulsion.
(ii) None of the mentioned animals is ammonotelic.
