What is the ratio of maximum acceleration to the maximum velocity of a simple harmonic oscillator?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Since maximum velocity is `v_(max) = romega` and
Maximum acceleration is `a_(max) = romega^(2)`
`therefore (a_(max))/(v_(max)) = (romega^(2))/(romega) = omega`
