What are biodegradable and non-biodegradable pollutants ?

Biodegradable pollutants are those which can be decomposed by bacteria. For example, dust particles, sewage, cow dung, etc.
Non-biodegradable pollutants are those which cannot be decomposed by bacteria. For example, plastic materials, mercury, aluminium, DDT, etc.
