Can a body have momentum without energy?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Yes , it is possible . As total energy = K.E + P.E = 0 then either both K.E and P.E are equal to zero or K.E = 0 P.E ., therefore , K.E may not be zero or may be zero . If K.E is non zero then the body has momentum .
