A dead foetus of a four month old boy child is surgically removed from the mother's uterus. But in the foetus testes were not present in the scrotum. Give reason.

Explanation

The testes are formed within the abdomen close to the kidneys. Soon after birth or at the 8th month of pregnancy they descend into the scrotal sac. So it may be the reason for not seeing the testes in the dead foetus.
