A body is dropped from a height of 40 m ...

A body is dropped from a height of 40 m from the surface of the Earth. Its final velocity is 28 m `s^(-1)`. What would be the final velocity of the body, if it is dropped from the same height on another planet where the acceleration due to gravity is 2.5 m `s^(-2)`. Assume atmospheric conditions to be similar.
(Take earth = 10 m `s^(-2)`)

Final velocity `V_(2) = sqrt(2gh) = sqrt(2 xx 2.5 xx 40)`
`= sqrt(5 xx 40)`
`= sqrt(200) = sqrt(2) xx 10 = 14 ms^(-1)`
