In any electric circuit, wires made up of good con-ductors are used to connected different appliances. All conductors have free charges moving in al directions. When the switch is 'ON', free charges through-out the circuit start moving in a spcific direction instantly. Even through no charge moves from switch to bulb instantly, charges at the end of the conductor that are connected to the bulb star moving through the bulb when switch is 'ON'.
