पानी का एक फव्वारा धरती पर अपने चारो ओर पानी छिड़कता है, यदि फव्वारे से निकल रहे पानी की चाल `v` है, तब फव्वारे के चारो ओर गीला होने वाला कुल क्षेत्रफल है :

A cylindrical vessel of radius 3.5 m is full of water. If 64 buckets of water are removed from a cubical shaped water tank completely filled with water, 1/3 of the tank remains filled with water. The length of each side of the tank is 1.2 m.Assuming that all buckets are of the same measure, then the volume (in litres) of water contained by each bucket is:- पानी से पूरी तरह से भरे हुए पानी के घनाकार टैंक से यदि 64 बाल्टी पानी निकाल लिया जाता है, तो 1/3 टैंक पानी से भरा रहता है। टैंक की प्रत्येक भुजा की लंबाई 1.2 मी है। माना कि सभी ,बाल्टियाँ समान माप की हे, तो प्रत्येक बाल्टी में पानी का आयतन (लीटर में) कितना होगा?

From a vessel containing 100l of wine, 10l are drawn out and an equal amount of water is added. From the mixture, 10 l is again drawn out and same quantity of water is added. What is the final ratio of wine and water ? एक बर्तन में 100 लीटर अत्कोहल है, 10 लीटर निकाल लेने के बाद समान मात्रा में पानी मिला दिया जाता है। मिश्रण से दोबारा 10 लीटर निकाला जाता है तथा समान मात्रा में पानी मिलाया जाता है। तो अंत में अल्कोहल तथा पानी का अनुपात क्या होगा।
