The correct Answer is:
B

Chromyl chloride test:When solid chloride is heated with conc.`H_(2)SO_(4)` in the presence of `K_(2)Cr_(2)O_(7)`, Deep red vapours of chromul chloride are evolved. These vapours are passed through NaOH solution forms sodium chromate yellow colour solution. This solution neutralised with acetic acid and an addition of lead acetate gives yellow precipitate of lead chromate.
