किसी नगर में टैक्सी का किराया पहले किलोमीटर का रूपए 5 और उसके बाद में रूपए 3 है। यदि तय की गयी दूरी x किमी. और किराया रूपए y हो तो इसे समीकरण रूप में व्यक्त कीजिए -
