The current through the resistance R
`I = ( ( epsilon)/( R+ r))`
The potential difference across R
`V= IR= ((epsilon)/(R+ r)) R`
`V= ( epsilon)/( (1+ (r )/( r)))`
when `R=0, V=0`,
`R= 00, V= epsilon`
Thus V increases as R in increases upto certain limit, but it does not increase further.
