Millions of chicken were killed in west Bengal , Assom , odisha and maharashtra recently ,what was the reason ?

Because these birds wre affected by bird (avian) flue caused by `H_(5)N_(1)` strain ofbird flu virus which spreaded like an epidemic. There are evidences thateh disease can spread from afected birds to any other species of animals like cats, pigs, white gigers and even human beings.
