Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Parasitism is an antagonistic (negative) interspecific interaction in which smaller partner, called parasite , derives food or shelter or both from the larger partner, called host, so the parasite is benefited while host is harmed. Mutualism is a positive interspecific obligatory interaction in which members of two different species are mutually beneficial and favour the growth and survival of each other.
