Why pyramid of numbers in a grassland ecosystem is upright ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Pyramid of number in a grassland ecosystem is always straight because the size of organisms increase from first trophic (i.e grasses) to the top carnivores (i.e. eagle) but the number of organisms goes on decreasing . So , the producers are maximum in number while top carnivores are minimum in number .
