Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Plants which are adapted to dry tropical regions have the `C_4` pathways. Such plants are able to tolerate high temperature and exhibit marked responses towards light intensities. `C_4` plants also have a greater productivity of biomass. However `C_4` plants not show any special characteristics in external morphology.
