Explain how during light reaction of photosynthesis, ATP synthesis is a chemiosmotic phenomenon.

A proton pump, proton gradient, ATPase and a membrane is required for chemiosmosis. NADP forms due to movement of electrons, ATP is utilized for biosynthesis in stroma. This all carries the fixation of `CO_2` and synthesis of sugar. ATPase enzyme catalyses the formation of ATP.
