Why are polar bodies formed during oogenesis but not during spermatogenesis?

During oogenesis, the primary oocyte undergoes unequal cytokinesis during meiosis-I and meiosis-II to retain most of cytoplasm in one ovum so 2 or 3 Polar bodies are formed. But during spermatogenesis, the primary spermatocyte undergoes equal cytokinesis so no polar bodies are formed.
