Term .Race. is employed for different human types of different geographical areas and have only some differences in physical features e.g. mongoloid,caucasoid and negroid races of man. A.breed. is a group of animals similar in most characters and are related by descent e.g. Jersey, Sindhi, Holstein, etc. breads of cows. .Cultivars. are new plant types produced for cultivation and have been developed by introducing some specific trait e.g. Pusa Gaurav of mustard.. "Varieties" are subtype of a species differing only in minor characters e.g. cauliflower and cabbage.
